An on-going project (that I've just decided to start) is about tucked away, fabulous, under-the-radar NYC stores. I'll keep adding to it as i stumble on them...Happy shopping!
LE GRENIER
WHAT: VINTAGE HOMEWARE
WHERE: GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN, 19 Green Point Ave
GETTING THERE: Walk for five mins from the Greenpoint Ave G train
MORE INFO: www.legrenierny.com
It may be the only shop on a border-line derelict street of warehouses and homes but thanks to the discerning eye of its owner - ex fashion producer, Maya Marzolf - it's well worth the hike. Inside it's a mix of industrial pieces and kitsch homeware with a few beautifully preserved pieces of taxidermy, old till registers and rail road tiles thrown in for good measure. There's a large leafy garden behind which hosts community events, and where shoppers can stroll around as they mull over their next purchase. A huge ginger tabby is normally to be found prowling around.

Fainting Spells
Hi there everyone!
Today I went to a vintage and second hand market called After Tea Party, it was the first time that it was released, but it was ok, although I didn't bought anything... but I receive a gift!
Well, I must say that I receive two gifts today: the first one was this:
I saw my beloved Nati! She's been living for a while in Bonn (Germany) and tomorrow she's coming back there, but on March she would be here again at Barcelona.
My second gift was a present from Nati, these gorgeous red leather gloves... with a big ribbon!
But this wasn't the only gift I received this week... on Thursday, I went to Phenomena's session (I'll show you what's this later) and Micky bought me these pair of shoes, from H&M Divided... they're horribles and great at the smae time!
And this is how I looked today; as you can see these days I'm dressing like if I was going to a rave party... well, I don't know why!
T-shirt - Junko Mizuno for Kidsrobot.
Skirt - Ben Sherman
Tights - Offbrand
Boots - Cache Cache
Jacket - H&M
Skull Butterfly - Handmade
Was your weekend good?

Yummy yummy!!
I made this lovely pirate bunny for two reasons: first of all because I want to present it in a cute exhibition that is happening on September here at Barcelona; and secondly, because it's the perfect excuse for announce the opening of my little handycraft shop:
So I'll be very happy if you hace a look on it and tell me your opinion!
Yesterday I cooked curry, and I took some pictures for explaining you the recipe, as some of you have been asking me about it... here what you'll need:
* Chicken breast
* Carrots
* Onions
* Raisins
* Ginger and Curry
* Cooking Cream
* Basmati Rice
So, first of all, cut the chicken breast into dices. Do the same with the carrot and raisins. Cut the onion in thin slices and put it with the carrots and raisins into a pan, with a little bit of oil. Cook it until the onion is transparent.
When this is ready, add the chicken and some curry, moving until it is half-cooked. Then, add the cream and some more curry, as you wish. You can add some pepper too, as some other vegetables you like, as tomatoes, potatoes, marrow, etc. When the chicken is ready, take it out of the fire and prepare the rice.
For the rice, I normally use some oil, ginger, salt and a piece of lemon, wich brings some flavour and makes the rice less sticky.
When the water is boiling, add the basmati rice and let it cook. When this is ready, put some rice on a plate and then add some curry over it... et voilá!!
You can fried the rice a little bit too, it depends on you!!
Let me know if you've got any doubt or if you prepare it!!
And remember, visit Bunnies are Pirates too!
PS: This is a part of Much Love Monday!

These lovely brand contains some of the most cute clothes I've ever see. I love their tights, and the skirts, so cute! Moreover, their pictures are so inspiring... I want to look like one of those girls!
The fabrics are so beautiful, and looks so comfortable!
I guess that they're not selling internationally, but maybe via intermediary we could buy some of these gorgeous things... I'll try to investigate a little bit more!
