this is why i'm trying to stop myself from purchasing any perfume

assalamualaikum wbt.

hye hye everyone. yes. i love to spell 'hye' instead of 'hai or hi' so, hye! ;) so, as the so-called-holiday goes on, i pun kemaslah bilik step by step kan. then, i gather all my perfumes and, ade 1 perfume hilang! huwaaaaa. mane kaw perfume! mane kaw! aku x pakai lg kaw! sobbb.

if u could recalled, i did write before, that i have to stop buying, purchasing anymore perfume. and y is that? here. take a look. oh before that, there's a few reason -

1 - i ade perfume yg dah bertahun-tahun tp tak guna lg. tskk.

2 - i cpt boring dgn perfume. kalau 30ml pun da cpt bosan, imagine lah if i dpt 250ml.

3 - kejap ske perfume floral, kejap ske exotic, kejap ske sweet2. ishhh.

magnolia (Body Shop) - sejak form 2 kot. OMG dah 7 years.

err. it does STILL smell good. dah x de dkt shop.

so, sentimental value lah. konon. ;P

rougeberry & amorito - both Body Shop. bau sweet2.

rougeberry tu sikit je lg tinggal, tp sbb da bosan, x habis lg '-___-''

amorito - beli this year or last year, still x pakai lg.

Strawberry & Love - both Body Shop jgk.

Strawberry - beli dkt Madinah. still x available dkt Mlysia.

Love Etc - fall in love at 1st sight. still x pakai.

Femme (Boss) & Chance (Chanel)

Femme (Boss) - abah belikan dkt airport time balik dr Mekah this year.

Chance (Chanel) - Mama ngah kasi last 2 years kot. SUKEEE gle!

BOSS - still x pakai. CHANEL - currently wearing.

yg dlm box - 1 drop perfume first edition dulu! dah 3 years. STILL ok.

Satomi pink yg unique ni Shafinaz kasi. dr Russia ;)

PALINGGG sayang & suka -- chanel chance tuh. habis jimat gune, tp bile mama gune nak pergi dinner, die spray mcm spray deodorant je! wahaha. mama! ;P

CURRENTLY pakai yg Strawberry, Chanel, dgn Satomi yg finaz kasi. ngee. ikutlah nak pakai mane! sukeee hati, tangan, dan mood.

thank you semua yg kasi hadiah! ngee. dan ye, TAHU. harus stop beli perfume. TAPI mane hilang 1 perfume tuh! Waaaa. sedih betul. tak pakai lg taw. baru beli this year. tskkk.

dulu, suka pakai perfume Adidas - fruity passion kot. pink color. lame dah tak pakai. rase mcm nak pakai balik nnt. boleh? HAHA. maksudnye kene beli perfume lg ;P

Durham Beckons

Hi everyone!  Just want you to know I haven't abandoned you.

Never, ever!

But, I'm in Durham right now, orchestrating Eric's move to Philadelphia.  The work of a mom is never done.  For those of you who are new moms, brace yourselves.  They will still need you, even when they are in their late twenties.  I'm not sure if that's the good news or the bad news.

In any event, I've got a couple of good posts about to happen - maybe tomorrow night if I'm not too exhausted from packing his 500,000 books.  I'll be here for the duration of the week.

But of course, I WILL make it to Watts Grocery (my favorite restaurant here).  Details to follow.

Avocado Prawn Medley

It takes two to Tango!

This is such a lovely dish for me to share this day of mourning because I lost a great friend. He passed away yesterday because of diabetes. Prior to his departure yesterday he had his knee amputated and went on a coma in ICU. He supposed to have his amputation from waist down yesterday lunch but wasn't able to make it. I can't imagine my dear friend with one knee amputated, what more from waist down? Such a terrible pain. He had this illness for several years and he will just often take medicines and insulin to keep him going. What funny about this fat boy friend of mine is--- despite the huge figure he had and the diabetes thing, he still managed to eat sweets like chocolates but definitely sugar-free. His favorite ice cream is the sugar-free of "Better than Ice Cream." I remember a lot of good and funny moments with him. He always possesses this mean humor and outlandish words to joke or humiliate people in a very funny way. Despite that a lot of people in the Philippine advertising industry loved him. He left us a very special mark and each one of us has our own story to tell about the laughter’s we shared with this good friend.

I would definitely miss the man. The harsh words he uttered, the sweet thoughts and the inspiring advice he gave me is what I will always keep in my heart. I felt it was only yesterday that I used to feed him with my food that for sure he can eat the entire casserole of any dish I will cook. He's my companion pigging out and splurging on shopping funky stuffs. How I wish he remained healthy and lived a balance life. Now I realize the value of exercise and eating the right food especially when you have a special illness to take care of.

This dish is a combination of a good result that I can say it takes two to tango. The component of prawn and avocado mix with Japanese mayo is very basic, healthy and easy to prepare. I hope my dear friend would still smell and taste my cooking wherever he is...

AVOCADO PRAWN MEDLEY

Ingredients:

• Cube Avocado
• Prawns
• Japanese Mayo
• Salt & pepper
• Cayenne Pepper
• French Bread
• Olive oil or option for Butter (of course)

Procedure:

There is no special ingredient nor procedure in preparing this simple salad or bruschetta topping I want to share to all of you. Start the process by heating pan in medium fire then add little olive oil or butter then stir fry prawns with salt and cayenne pepper. Set aside and cool when cooked. Prepare a bowl and pour in the cube avocados then the prawns. Squeeze in the mayo then add salt & pepper. Chill for several hours then serve. You can either serve it as is or top it with a slice French bread or Baguette.
