This is Pho 24 when I first visited Vietnam two years ago. PHO is pronounced as Fuuuh in Vietnamese. The sound of their language closely resembles Chinese and Thai. They actually have a wide choice of noodles and shakes on their menu.

I ordered beef noodles and an avocado shake that cost me thousands of dong but equivalent to P60 pesos for the noodles and P30 pesos for the shake. Cheap isn't it?

This is PHO 24 in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) Situated along the street near our hotel. Unlike PHO 24 here in Rockwell, the positioning is less upscale.

This is the last ice cream I ordered before I left Saigon. The best picture I got of all the the other ice creams I ordered. Funny Ice Cream House is the name of the store. A must try when you visit Saigon.

These are the street children in Saigon selling cheaper Lonely Planet Books---a low quality imitation, of course. For only P150.00, I think.

This is my souvenir photo with a Vietnamese Monk. I met her during my solo flight tour. I explored the city while riding the famous motorcycle in Vietnam. It's like hiring a private vehicle because the driver brought me to places like the park, zoo, pagodas, temples, ruins of war and all the interesting museums near the city---for only P800.

One thing I can say...I'll always remember Saigon. For the good food, interesting culture, nice places and their fast recovery from the war.
