KBB # 17 Smoked Beef & Cheese Lattice Pies

















Tema KBB # 17 kali ini mengangkat tentang " Lattice Pies" tapi harus dengan filling yang rasanya gurih / asin dan boleh menggunakan pastry sheet yang siap jadi. Awalnya terlihat wah enak nih tidak perlu susah susah bikin dan bisa cari di spm terdekat. Karena lain hal dan puff pastry aku ternyata gagal dan tak berkembang sebagaimana layaknya, akhirnya aku putuskan untuk membuat si Lattice ini dengan mengguna resep " Mak Dita" yang menurut aku paling mudah ...thank u mak resepnya very easy to made lah....

Smooked Beef Lattice Pies

Crust :
original recipes from Dita W

2 1/2 cups
all purpose flour
1 tbs sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) chilled unsalted butter
5 tsb or more ice water (aku gak pake ini karena udah cukup untuk di pulung)

Cara membuat :

Campur bahan kering dengan butter dingin yang sudah dipotong potong hingga berbutir butir kemudian tambahkan air es secukupnya hingga adonan bisa di bentuk kemudian simpan dalam pendingin kurleb 30 menit.

Isi Pie:
5 pcs smooked beef - potong kecil kecil
150 gr keju cheddar parut
sejumput garam
3 butir telur - kocok lepas

Semua bahan isian di campur jadi satu.

Penyelesaian :
Ambil dough pie bentuk kemudian isi lalu tutup dengan bentuk lattice, oven hingga matang.

shahli dpt dlu ipod touch drpd sy. grrrr~

and many many many more... ada setghnya anugerah & kelebihan pd mereka. ada jg lebih kpd rezeki masing-masing. kadang bertanya pd diri, tuhan. di mana kelebihan sy? dan sy bersyukur dgn apa yg ada, walaupun biasa saja diri ini.

few days ago, balik kerja, tiba-tiba dah ada air cond dlm bilik.
few weeks ago, pergi carrefour, tiba-tiba mama belikan 2 hp terus.
semalam, tiba-tiba, ramai customer beli shawls secara on9. alhamdulilah.
keluar mkn dgn producers, dah beberapa kali dibelanja. *sgt menghargainya*
keluarga selalu ada... kawan pun ramai yg baik. jd... apa yg blh disimpulkan,

mama dan abah beri yg sebaik mungkin utk sy.
Allah, sentiasa memberi, walaupun kadang sy buta utk menilai...
org sekeliling, bukankah hadiah terbesar yg sy ada? =)



tak perlu kot



sy bukan siapa-siapa. budak baru lagi.
tak perlu kot kalau sekadar main-main? hati ini sudah dimiliki.
lagipun, puluhan lg yg lebih cantik, bergaya di dpn mata.
terkadang pelik, apa yg menarik ttg sy? kosong. maka. diam saja.
oh seganlah dgn kalian. jgn ditunjuk sgt. kelak sy tidak selesa.
sy hanya melakukan tnggjwb sebaik mungkin.

 I know of a better job. It is to be employed full-time in the moments of life we experience as the now. It is to be present in that sacred second when a Monarch butterfly lights on a chive blossom or to be able to wonder at the weavings of a spider and feel God's Presence. 

In that job I am both an intern and vested for life.

Schilthorn -To the Top!

Yes, we started off with another train ride today, but it was only a short one to Lauterbrunnen where we switched to a bus that took us to Stechelberg, then a lift that transported us to the very top of one of the highest mountains in Switzerland.











We just kept going
higher
and higher...
and it got
colder
and colder...

It was -1 degrees C at the top.








The green slopes turned to ski slopes and the snow got deeper and deeper...


I was surprised to figure out that we were only as high as Fairplay, Colorado when we arrived at the very top. It definitely felt higher than a 14er!





On our way back down we stopped in Murren and walked to the next town, Gimmelwald. I fell in love with this area immediately.

As you can see there weren't many tourists. Perfect! :D

Just a little mountain farm community.


They were doing a cow show, so we stopped and watched the fun. Classic Swiss farmers and James Herriot style vets. The cows were gorgeous. Too neat!




We hoped to find someone home to buy some Alpen cheese from, but they were all at the show or in the fields.


We spend most the day on the mountains and headed back down to Interlaken in time to have dinner at Bebbis. Fondue and Raclette in the Swiss Alps! A dream of mine come true!

CRISPY BATTER FRIED PRAWNS


Ingredients:
Prawns ........ 1/4 kg
Garlic paste ...1 tbsp.
White flour ... 1 cup
Corn flour .... 2 tbsps.
Ajinomoto ..... a pinch
Soy sauce ...... 1 tbsp.
Salt .............. to taste
Beer
Oil
Method:
1. Clean the prawns. Leave the tails intact.
2. Marinate them with garlic paste, soy sauce, ajinomoto and salt.
3. Make a thick batter with the flours adding salt and beer to mix.
4. Just before serving dip the prawns in the batter and deep fry them.
Serve with chilli sauce.
