I haven't forgotten about you.  More recipes to come, I promise.

Life has just gotten in the way for the last week.  Will post something tomorrow.

erratum

November 3

Clark Mitchell does not, I repeat does not, drink vodka Martinis. I’m not sure why I thought he did, or why I said he did in this recent blog entry, but I have fixed the mistake and thought I should let you know.

Normally I’d just fix the mistake and go on with my life, and Clark certainly didn't grouse about my error, but, well, vodka and gin Martinis illustrate people in very different ways.

Chimichurri Sauce

Another place I would like to visit is Argentina, particularly Buenos Aires. Called by some the Paris of South America, its wide boulevards and Beaux Arts architecture seem especially romantic to me.  Of course, beef and red wine are hallmarks of Argentinian cuisine. Lately, I’ve enjoyed Argentinian Malbecs as a value-based alternative to inscrutable Bordeaux or overpriced quality California wines. As for steak, we have seen an explosion in popularity of the grilled flat steak and it’s easy to see why.  These cuts, whether called London broil, flatiron, flank or hanger steak, are affordable and easy to prepare. There are many rub and marinating recipes, some based on soy, others inspired by the spices of certain regions. But this past weekend, I wanted something different, something fresh, something easy. I chose a chimichurri green sauce, which is quick and easy to prepare and requires no advance marinating of the steak. The heart of a chimichurri sauce is parsley, onion, oil, garlic and pepper flakes. I also like to add cilantro and lime juice to brighten the flavor. Others will add oregano, which I think would overpower these flavors, or cumin, which while cumin is my favorite spice, is not where I want to go with this. As always, feel free to adjust to your tastes, but be sure to prepare the sauce before starting the steak to give it time to sit and marinate in its own flavors.

Ingredients:
½ cup olive oil
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
½ cup parsley chopped
½ cup cilantro chopped
1 yellow onion chopped
1 tbsp garlic minced
½ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
juice of one lime

Directions:
Whisk together the olive oil and vinegar. Mix in the parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.  If you desire a smoother sauce, blend in a food processor.  Allow the sauce to marinate for ½ hour.  Stir in the lime juice and serve ladled over grilled steak cut into strips.

Baby, the Stars Shine Bright!

Hello everyone!! I hope everybody around here is fine! My ankle is much better, thank you for your sweet comments!!

It's been an exhausting week, we worked very hard and barely have time to connect to internet and update the blog, I'm so sorry! Finally, everything returns to normal and I will continue to update with the ease of before, thanks for your patience!

I'm going to go slowly telling my whole week, with many photos included ... and nothing better to start with the Tea Party that Baby, the Stars Shine Bright offered in Barcelona on Wednesday.

We got up early to set up the booth in which we have been working throughout the Salon del Manga de Barcelona, we were a little against the clock, but eventually all was well at five o'clock, time we went to make do with home Maka. Here is the result of some of us.

Eva (amazing in her white dress, wow)

Me!
I was wearing:
Red jsk by Baby, the Stars Shine Bright.
White shirt frm Zara
Red shoes from Tao Bao
Totebag from Alice and the Pirates
Leopard bow from Primark
Leopard offbrand tights

After a train ride, we reached the hotel where they celebrated the Tea Party, the truth is that the site was beautiful! We went down to a very nice room and there began to drink tea and eat some delicious pastries.

Mr. Sakurai, Misako and Yu representative, enlivened the tea asking questions about our understanding of the brand, lolita models or Japanese culture in general; he was pleasantly surprised to see that we were all very knowledgeable. It was also Mr. Sawada, the head of the Baby store in Paris.

Esther, Laia and me!

Finally, Misako and Yu showed up, both gracefully dressed ... Yu is pure love, and Misako chased me for half room just for taking some photos with me, she loved my whole classic jsk complemented with leopard!

I won a surprise gift, which proved a color alice blue bow ... something that I do not use much, so I gave it to my dear Maka. We also receive all lucky packs with a purse, a crown, socks, gloves and postcards from the brand... everything was lovely!

Esther, Yû and me.

Malloco and Esther.

And of course, we got a picture with Fidel David, a young fashion designer from Valencia who does not lack style and good taste ... and is a wondeful guy!

In short, an unforgettable evening.

And one thing more: my lovely friend Rocío has released a streetsnap blog, have a look at À la mode!

this unclear thing made me feel like 'weird'... :)

*my life are filled in with the bright color*

I dont know why i always feels excited lately :)
Is that because something make me interested?
Or is that because someone make me interested?
I feel my life now become more colorful and meaningful, but I really have no idea how to explain this.
I just feel something 'weird' deepdown in my heart... something weird that always me smile and happy... XD

*bashful*
