Mulut Kedua

esok nikah. sepupu lah, bkn sy.

td kan. dah ambik gmbr pelamin kan. pelamin nikah yg dkt rumah. siang nikah dkt rumah, mlm majlis dekat dewan. and then... baru teringt. CABLE CAMERA TAK BAWAKKK. hebat lah! puffff~ ptg nih rehearsal. jd pengepit ketam pengantin. :P

semlm teman kema cari kasut dkt ECM (east coast mall). masuk Vincci bagai. nose. sekali dkt Vincci ternampak 2 pairs of simple, so-so-my taste-sandals, and and mcm sampai sekarang teringat2 then kejap lg akan pergi ECM dgn abah! wahaha. beli atau tak itu perkara lain. yo yo je.

lagipun. dah janji dgn namin syg -- HANYA AKAN BELI HANDBAG SELEPAS JUNE 2011. kalau tulis 'tak akan beli handbag sehingga june 2011' takut plak TAK AKAN tu jd AKAN. tskkk. ok, ketepikan. itu adalah janji ttg handbag. i tak janji ttg shoes! :D

oh i'm not into vincci. sbb selalunye kasut die x comfortable dgn kaki, which i prefered nose. but then, semlm kira lucky vincci lah tuh. thee. suke suke suke. nak jgk nak jgk nak jgk!

semlm baca buku separuh hari. bagus kan? haha. hari ni baru lg bnyk kerja. sbb esok dah majlis! esok pakai kasut raya je kot dgn harapan lantai dewan tu tak licin. tlg la tlg la! sbb wedges raya tuh tapak die mcm kurang bunga, jd mcm licin then asyik rase nak tergelincir tp budget tegar!

kak aizam kasi hadiah bday -- bantal baby blue comel. skeee :) thanks kak aizam. pluss amsyar (anak sedara) suka kaco sy tibe2 skrng. dlu die buat boh layan je. akibat terlalu ske kaco, sy sentiasa pegang pelindung. iaitu patung kepala perempuan (yg selalu org pakaikan tudung dkt butik tuh) dan amsyar takut. haha.

nnt sy update semula dgn gmbr. sbb dah minta tlg kak sally bwkkan cable camera. hopefully dia tak lupa. till then. take care ppl. may Allah blessed us :)

mama ngah nak kasi kitten comel as bday present.
tp tataw lg nak ke tak, sbb rindu dkt sugar & pepper memuncak!

Cheese, Bacon and Pineapple Pasty with Chips

Pasties can be made in so many different shapes and forms but it is a great pity that many people automatically assume that they have to buy pasties pre-prepared and do not consider how easy they are to actually make at home. This is especially true where the puff pastry is purchased already made but the other ingredients are prepared from scratch. This recipe for Cheese, Bacon and Pineapple Pasties falls in to that category.

Ingredients per Pasty

3oz puff pastry
3 medallions (or rashers) of bacon
2oz cheddar or other hard cheese
1 pineapple ring (if canned, should be in own juice and not syrup)
Freshly ground black pepper
Beaten egg for glazing

Method

The bacon has to be cooked and allowed to cool prior to its incorporation in the pasty. This is therefore the first step but the bacon should be cooked and no more, not fried or grilled to the point of being crisp.

When the bacon has cooled, the oven should be put on to preheat to 400F/200C/Gas Mark 6. The bacon should then be sliced to a thickness of about 1/4", the cheese coarsely grated and the pineapple fairly finely sliced. The three ingredients should then be mixed together, with a little freshly ground black pepper. Note that additional salt is unlikely to be necessary, due to the saltiness obtained from the bacon.

The puff pastry should be rolled out evenly on a floured surface to the extent where a 10" dinner plate can be used as a template to cut a perfect circle. The pastry will be fairly thin at this stage but this is deceptive as it will puff up considerably during cooking. The filling should then be spread evenly over one half of the circle, leaving a border of up to 1".

The border of the filled half of the circle should be lightly glazed with beaten egg before the other half of the pastry is folded over and the edges gently crimped. A large baking tray should be greased with butter and the pasty placed on the tray. A cut should be made in the top of the pasty to allow steam to escape during cooking, before it is liberally glazed with the beaten egg and placed in to the preheated oven for 35/40 minutes, until beautifully risen and golden.

The cooked pasty can be served with chips as in this example, or even alone as part of a snack or light lunch. Equally, it may be served either hot or cold.

Blue Blood: LeLook Night

Last saturday we were invited to this year's LeLook night, and MIAU Magazine, Laia, Rose and I were there, of course!

There was a fashion show during the night, and the models were among the attendees of the event. There was a photocall too, and I took pictures to the photographer (I think I was the only one who made pictures to him, haha!).

And here you can see a bunch of pictures of the best models (from my point of view, of course).

And my look, of course! i decided to wear in polka dots, so different to the rest of the people... and with little Barbies on my head and hands!

This week i'm a little bit stressed, as I'm still searching for a job (I've got an interview next Tuesday!), making tons of jewels for Halloween (I'm selling things at "El Salón del Manga", an important event during that weekend) and trying to find some new projects... I hope they would come to a good place, because one of them is so great!!

Oh, and I almost forgot! Elsa Billgren featured me on her blog yesterday... have a look at it here!

Have a nice day, my sweethearts! Here's gonna rain, so yes... it's a great day for me ;)
