Basil and Tomato

This pasta is one of Italy's staple dishes. Simple ingredients like basil, tomatoes(fresh or in can), garlic, salt and pepper---that's it! Add capers and you can tell the difference. Simply boil your noodles for about ten minutes then drain and set aside. Heat another pan with olive oil then add garlic and basil, saute for a few minutes. Then add your capers and tomatoes. Add a little water, simmer for 10 more minutes then add salt and pepper to taste. Pour on to your pasta noodles then top with wedges of parmesan cheese...oh how delicious. Grilled fish and prawns will be the best combination and of course red wine! I think my friend Marnie should try this at home. Bon Appetit!
