Poupee de cire, poupee de son.

Today's my last night at home and I just wanna show you a few pictures about this week.

It's been a hard week, as I had to look after my grandfather and helped my mother, but I've been with my family and friends, and that's what I wanted, right? So this past two weeks weren't a holiday but it's ok...

Micky was here from Sunday to Wednesday morning; on Sunday we went with my mother and Rafa, her boyfriend, to a new restaurant around here in wich they distill their own beer... it's a cool place and the food was delicious! It's called Kettal and it's near Algeciras, around the industrial park.

I was wearing a lovely dress with bunnies printed on it, from Pull & Bear... the point is that it only costed me 3€ 'cause it had a little hole... a bargain! The socks are from Topshop and the shoes are offbrand.

On Wednesday I met Angie and helped her to buy some clothes; it was really funny as I love to do personal shopping for my friends! She made me this pictures, as she loved the way I was dressed.

The top and the skirt are from Bershka, the socks from H&M and the shoes offbrand... yes, they're the same as the black ones but in white! The bag is from Claire's.

And finally on Thursday I went to the hairdressing, so I can say I'm a proper redhead again!

I'm a little bit sad about leaving, but I'm sure that lots of new things are gonna happen at Barcelona... just wait for it! :)!

We only come out at night.

The days are much too bright... so we only come out at night; as The Smashing Pumpkins' song used to say!

Here during the day it's been too hot, so during the last week I only came out at night... on thursday I went out with my mum and Rafa; we had dinner and a good time at Plaza Neda, where the NGO in wich I used to work are doing some summer activities, as salsa dance or make up for children.

And on saturday night I had a barbecue with my friends from here: Zori, Ana, David, Miguel Luis, Ismael, Lucy, Juan Alberto... all the gang together for Ana and Ismael's birthday, as every year! It's good to see how every year we gather to celebrate these birthdays, no matter what happens!

 Ana and Juan Alberto.
 Zori, the barbecue keeper XD

 Lucy and Juan

It's so good seeing all your friends around here like very single year...

By the way, this was my outfit last thursday:

 Polka dots top - H&M
Skirt - Bershka
Socks - Tophop
Bag - Sanrio
Shoes - Offbrand
Hair flower - Offbrand

I wish you all a happy monday!

There's no place like home.

Hi there!

So, as I told you on my last entry, I'm at home for a couple of weeks! And the best part about it is that I can have a lovely time with my family and friends from here.

On Sunday night, after I arrived to Málaga's Airport, I had a lovely dinner at the beach with my mum and stepfather. I finally ate grilled sardines, my favourite summer meal!! So delicious!

And then, on monday night I had a very special reunion with my friend Alex and my cousin Rocío. It's been a year since the last time I saw Rocío, as she's been at India, Thailand and Mexico during all this year... and I've missed her so much!

Today I had a walk around the twon center, and maybe tonight I'm seeing some other friends around here, but before that I'll visit my grandparents... I've missing them so much too.  Anyway, I looked today like this:

Junko Mizuno's t-shirt - Kidrobot
Skirt - Bershka

Socks - Primark
Shoes - offbrand

It's hot but I'm in a very good company nowadays! :D!

Enjoy!

Like Dylan in the movies.

On Thursday I'll be back on Barcelona, and I'm afraid that for a couple of weeks I'll be without internet :(! That's because I'm moving, yes; we had some problems in my other flat and tomorrow my flatmates will make the move to our new house. It's a little bit more expensive and I'm afraid that September it's gonna be a hard month, but as I'm starting a new job and I'm coming back with new expectatives for my life, I think everything would be ok.

Anyway, before leaving my home, I guess I can plan some entries, as I have some interviews to show you and a few things more! But please, don't worry if you don't see me around here from next thursday until maybe two weeks!

You may think about what I told you a few weeks ago, moving to Sweden.
I still want to do it, but for the moment I'll stay at Barcelona for a while, learning swedish and saving money; so maybe for next spring I can move there, as Sweden it's my dreamed land.

I know that for most of you, the point of a spanish girl, used to a hot weather and a sunny life, moving into Sweden may sounds strange; but if you knew me since I was a little girl, you would know about my passion for this country. It's not about what I see/read in swedish blogs; it's about me and my life. I need to miss Spain, and I need to miss the sun... yes, the swedish weather is one of the hot points for me about moving there, I want to live a real winter, without sun and with snow and all those things, I love that... las January, at Berlin, I was the most happier girl over the earth... and I know that Sweden would makes me happy too, I'm sure about it!

I feel a little bit sad about leaving my home after a month here with my family and friends, but the show must go on and I'm sure that lots of adventures are waiting for me... and I hope you all would be there for reading about them!! Thanks for being with me during all this long journey, when almost a year ago I packed my suitcases and moved to Barcelona!

One thing more; I would like to ask you... is there something you would like to read about here in my blog? Anything you would like to see aroun here? Please, tell me about it!

And have a lovely end of the weekend!

Yummy yummy!! Pasta with leeks and bacon (and an outfit for today!)

Hey everyone! It's been a hard weekend and I must catch up all the comments and blog entries from last week, but I promise I'll do it in a while!

Last thursday I was alone at home, so I cooked for myself some pasta with leeks, onion, bacon and cheese... and here you've got the recipe!

1. Put some pasta in boiled water with some oil and salt. Wait until it is al dente!

2. Take an onion and some leeks, and cut it into little pieces.

3. Take a fried pan and put some oil on it, the onion and leek. Add some salt if you want and cook it for about 5 minutes. Don't forget to move it, leeks burn easily!

4. Cut some bacon and add it to the fried pan. If you want, you can add some white wine!

5. Take some of your favourite chees and cut it into little dices, and add it with the pasta!

6. ... et voilá!

It's really delicious! If you do it, let me know!!

And today I woke up early in the morning and went into my old office, where my mum also works. Cristina took me some pictures in the backyard...

Summers is also gone, and now I must search for a new flat (it's a long story) and wait until september the 3rd, when I would start working at the Barbie Store!! Yaw for me!
