Aloo – Beet Paratha Recipe
Ingredients- Ingredients for the dough
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- salt to taste
- water as required
- For the stuffing
- 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup boiled and mashed beetroot
- 1 tsp black pepper (kalimirch) powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
- 1 tbsp grated coconut
- salt to taste
Method - Sieve flour with salt, add enough water to make dough.
- Knead the dough well and divide into small balls.
- Small thin rounds of dough in flour to help roll out each part.
- Spread a little filling on one round, another round and well covered in the press.
- Shallow fry on a hot griddle.
- Repeat for the remaining rounds and showers.
- Serve hot
