Police seek owner of 'Grandma's urn' left at Goodwill store

Police in Michigan are trying to find who left what appear to be a grandmother's cremated remains in an urn at Fenton Goodwill store near Flint.

The box is labelled "Grandma's urn." The cream-coloured urn is about 10 inches tall and weighs about 10 pounds. It doesn't have any identifying marks or label.

"Yeah, this is unusual ... this is unusual," said Lt. Stephen Sipes of the Michigan State Police Flint Post. "It's our assumption that someone probably inadvertently loaded up that box with others to drop off at the Goodwill."

Police aren't sure if 'grandma' is in that urn or if it's 'grandma's' property. Regardless, they're hoping someone who sees this knows who it belongs to.
