Man sold boys tobacco products in exchange for spankings

Lexington County deputies have arrested 50-year-old Terrence Bryant for selling cigarettes and smokeless tobacco to underage boys in exchange for spankings.

Deputies began investigating the convenience store clerk after the father of a 12-year-old boy found him with a pack of cigarettes earlier this month.

Bryant sold the boy cigarettes at least five times over a two month period, in exchange for spanking the boy on his buttocks with his clothes on to gratify Bryant's sexual desires.

Deputies say Bryant also sold smokeless tobacco to two 15-year-old boys on May 10 after spanking them in the same manner. Bryant is charged with three counts of lewd act upon a child under age 16. He is awaiting a bond hearing at the Lexington County jail.
