on my own
"Sometimes she said that she loves him just because she doesnt want you to know that she is really really love you more than everything" ~Hardiyanti Danial Alisakti~
UST - College of Architecture and Fine Arts

I feel a bit sentimental today because I terribly miss college. After watching several episodes of the famous Australian Mockumentary "Summer Heights High" I suddenly miss going to school.
Early this morning I was tagged in Facebook in one of our college photos. I suddenly remember who I was before. I was this skinny long hair girl full of dreams and fought blood and tears just to enter her dream university with her dream degree. I miss my Fine Arts days. Things were simpler back then. All I need to think about was to finish my plates to be submitted on deadline and have it passed then that's it! Life is different now. More responsibilities and complications.
I do love my course. I supposed to take up HRM - Major in Food Nutrition but I decided not. I find Fine Arts more interesting and filled with tons of adventures. And besides I can always do cooking whenever I want. True enough the day I decided I also want to be in the heat of the kitchen, I never stopped cooking sumptuous dishes since then.
Despite the temptations during college, I remained to be a goody-two-shoes. I was quiet. I rarely talk. I don't have group of friends 'til the latter part of my college days when I found the company of Harbey & Warren. My two best dudes up to these days of my life. Our story is another story that I think is also monumental.
If I will check out the life of each of my classmates now, I think they went a long way the day we wore our toga and received our bachelor's degree. Most of them are married with kids, some look different the way they were in college and some remain the same. I do miss doing manual plates where in I sketch, I paint and all those hard work versus the technology of computerized plates these days. I can't imagine myself with any course. I am proud to wear my chocolate brown pants and polo shirt with vertical stripes! The coolest uniform in our university back then. But of course a lot of things have changed since the day we all left our Alma mater. How I miss my school.

my new subject, BMB 1401 History and Philosophy Of Science
BMB 1401
History and Philosophy of Science
It sounds weird, how come business people get science subject? hehe.. From last semester all of us think for so hard bout this subject. Now finally we got it, this is just scary. First day of class, min 3000 words of research report assignment landed already =.=
Though this is short semester, we should start the project as soon ass possible.. Yeah, for this semester one subject only and no early morning class! :D
But Trace and Nicholas have their moral studies from monday-tuesday started from 8.30am! I can imagine that they will rise and shine early in the morning =.=
Our new lecturer Mr. Shannon, really interesting one! He tried to make this subject not that scary like what we were imagined. :)
and he gave us an unforgettable quotation :
"you dont know what you dont know, you know what you know" ~Shannon J~
well, hope all of BBM get good mark for this subject ;)

Rude girls, don't love a rudie!
I think that is not something strange that the mods evolved into the skins. I mean, the depression of the country and the change of the style, perfectly normal in any fashion style; provided the perfect emergence for the rude boys (maybe the parents of the skins culture). The clothes change, the attitude changes... but, what about the girls?
They changed their style too, but without refusing to the cute skirts and feminine shapes (although sometimes you can see the rude girls wearing the typical jeans with a shirt and suspenders). I think that the above picture is one of the best examples I could fin, because you can see a mod girl and what could have been a rude girl, both with an awesome style (in my opinion).

But please, make no mistake with what I'm saying; I'm not talking about politics or ideologies, I'm just speaking in the change of a style during the sixties...

A skinhead's party?

Who said that skins were only white people?
The rude boys and girls started to use clothes made of a very good quality, so they could last a long time. I guess that's why the rude girls left the nice dresses and started to wear the tipycal clothes that nowadays everybody knows as skin's clothes.
But I really love the step between both styles... I find it really awesome!
By the way, thanks for your lovely comments on my last entry, they mean a lot for me! And thanks again for your advises for the cold weather in Berlin; we're staying finally in a lovely hostel... I can't wait for going there on friday!
