Alpha Prime ( Highly Compressed ) - Mediafire

Alpha Prime | Genre: Sci-Fi First-Person Shooter | {251MB}

Alpha Prime is a first person shooter set in deep space in an apparently abandoned deep-space asteroid mining base. You have a surplus of advanced weapons and devices, including a variety of robots and manipulators, surveillance cameras and security systems that can be hacked, controlled and used to complete your task.

Arnold the prospector!

You play as Arnold an ex prospector (something like a hubbardium miner) who has to save Warren (a friend of him) from a secret mining base, located on an illegal asteroid. You will be guided along your way by Livia (Warren's wife and your ex girlfriend) who plays a key role in the whole game. The contact between you and her and all the other NPC's will be established by a voice signal transmitter, so you will not receive a direct support from any of them. There is only a short scene in the first level where you will helped by an Italian guy to kill some enemies. Otherwise you will be all alone in your battle to conquer the secret facility. You are actually caught in a soap-opera plot with some sci-fi elements. Why the mining robots are out of control and why special troops are trying to put their hands on this mine, you will discover yourself if you want to end the game.

Difficult enemies

Ending the game is a matter of strong nerves and self controlling. And this is valid on the easy setting. The cause of this high difficulty is not the aggressive A.I. of the enemy, or their numbers, but the fact that you have to shoot too many times to kill one. Mixed with the difficulty of finding health supplies, the game becomes a real challenge even for the most experienced fps gamers. If you take in consideration also that in some levels you need to search for oxygen supplies, this game can become your worst nightmare. The official release statement was saying that there are 14 types of enemies in the game. But these types are actually created based on a few basic models with few variations

Sunday Birthmonth Treats

My family always treats me for my Birthday month.  It was my Ate's turn today.  We went to Phoenix Court, Bellevue Hotel in Alabang.  I was with Gilly, Ate's daughter and Tita Portia.  The place was packed!

Our lunch menu:

Chilled Jellyfish with Century Egg & Honey Pork

 Assorted dumplings:
Steamed Prawn Dumpling

Steamed Mixed Vegetable Dumpling

Steamed Pork & Shrimp Siomai

Wintermelon Soup with Seafood

Hot & Sour Soup

Pan Fried Beef  Tenderloin Black Pepper

Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet

Sauteed Pork Rib with Barbecue Sauce

Braised Bean Curd with Chinese Mushroom and Oyster Sauce

Green Vegetables with two Kinds of Eggs

Sauteed Bokchoy with Garlic

Yang Chow Fried Rice

Chilled mango Sago

Almond Jelly

There was so much food, we were not able to finish the whole lot!  We went to Manila Memorial Cemetery in Sucat after lunch to visit my Dad and my Grandma whose death anniversaries fall on August and also to say hello to my Mom... my birthday moment with her.

You think my day was over?  Not by a long shot.  Tita Portia and I did not want to eat dinner at home so we went to our favorite Filipino restaurant, Mesa, Greenbelt 5.

Our usual fare, Prawns in Red Egg Sauce

Manga Salad

Inihaw na Liempo

Pork Sinigang in Guava and Pineapple.

I loved the soup!  A different kind of sinigang.  Again the serving was huge, good for 4-5 people.  This time I really could not finish it so I brought home a doggy bag!  Hahaha  Not for Wriggly but for myself.

You think I am done with my gastronomical indulgences already?   Well .... lastly... I bought a Twix Ice Cream Bar from Rustan's Greenbelt.

AAAAhhhhh .... so good but so bad because it was so sweet.

I still have two more weekends to go before my birthday weekend and both are booked already with celebrations!!!  Hahahaha How can I ever look good in my two piece bikini when I go to Boracay for my REAL birthday, huh?????  BIG EVIL GRIN!!!  :D

El Matador ( Highly Compressed) - Mediafire

EL- Matador | Genre: Modern Shooter | {560MB}

El Matador has something of a Hitman or Splinter Cell feel because of the gritty settings, the true-crime storyline where you're trying to take down the heirs to Pablo Escobar single-handedly, and the fact that just a few bursts of fire or a couple of well-placed grenades can send you to back to Washington in a body bag. But this isn't a tactical shooter or a sneaker. On the contrary, this is one of the fastest, most traditional shooters seen in recent years. It has a Doom-like pace (and soundtrack), a generic selection of weapons, and tons of enemies that are waiting around every corner. If you slow down, you'll get pinned down by withering fire and then killed by either the barrage of lead directed your way or the grenades that are always efficiently tossed into hiding spots

Although this sounds like a dream come true for an old-school shooter fan, excruciating difficulty ruins El Matador. Those hordes of enemies noted above never seem to miss, unerringly nailing you again and again across rooms, hallways, and fields. If you stick Corbet's neck out even the tiniest bit, you get shot in moments--even if the bad guy doing the gold-medal shooting is hunkered down a few dozen meters away behind a palm tree or a desk with nothing more than the top of his head exposed. These shots come out of nowhere and drain you so regularly that your health and armor might as well be ticking down on a clock.

A tough game is one thing, but El Matador tilts the playing field so much that it feels like you're being cheated. While there is nothing in gaming like the satisfaction of beating a really hard shooter, there is a fine line between giving you the chance to earn that feeling of accomplishment and hammering you so relentlessly that continuing to play seems futile. If Plastic Reality ever makes another shooter, let's hope that it discovers where that line is in the future.
