Emergency room medics in Bucharest, Romania, fled when a patient turned up with a four-foot anaconda wound around his neck demanding to be treated.
Florian Todor, 41, had taken the snake with him to use it to terrorise a friend that owed him money - but the pal had bashed him over the head with a broom handle, sending him off to the hospital for treatment.
Doctors fled when the snake man arrived and called police - who confiscated the reptile and handed it to a local wildlife park.
Todor was fined €250 and banned from keeping snakes in the future.
