The Fashion Hooligan

I must said I'm shocked. So shocked. This wasn't supossed to happened, was it? I mean... why? The anathomy of suicide is for me, still today, an unexplored path that makes me think about life... I though about it so much long time ago, when one of my best friends did something horrible that nobody understanded in that time...

I think is feeling alone. You think you're alone, in a tunnel, and you can't see the end of it. No matters what people around you say... you can't see the light...

The first time I cared about Alexander McQueen's work was in 1999. I saw this at a Vogue issue, and I was fascinated.

Yes, 1999 . I'm not of those fucking McQueen's fans that simply loved him because Lady Gaga or something like that. He was a genious, and I reconigzed that when I saw this, eleven years ago. Since that time, he created lots of gorgeous things that I want to show you...

Spring/Summer 2000

I remind myself going mad with his Fall/Winter 2001 collection. THIS was the point when I started to love him.

Spring/Summer 2005

Spring/Summer 2007... dark victorian for the good weather.

Fall/Winter 2009, with the plastic-doll mouth idea...

And of course, one of my favourite collections... Fall/Winter 2005 for men:

I could be all night posting pictures about his art (yes, because this was art); but I'm not doing it. A genious has died today, and maybe sounds dramatic, but I cannot help looking at these pictures and  moarn, just for a second, but feel my eyes wet.

Please, don't remember him only for Gaga or for the gorgeous shoes of his last collection. Dn't cry for him only for feeling cool and inside the "fashion carousel". Remember him as an artist, a genious, a creator of dreams. Remember him as...

The fashion hooligan.
